Global Impact

GNS is focused on Global Solutions. There is an urgent need to prevent the avoidable morbidity of neonatal hypothermia.

Expansion Plan

  • Remaining 30 district hospitals
  • All 440 health centers
  • On transports
  • Potential for private clinics and home use

Scale Across Rwanda

STEP 1 RANDOMIZED CONTROLLED TRIAL OF 10 DISTRICT HOSPITALS ACROSS RWANDA

STEP 2 AFTER COMPLETION, PROVIDE 100% COVERAGE ACROSS RWANDA

Roll Out to Highest Need Countries

We will then expand to African countries in relative proximity to Rwanda whose health ministries have prioritized maternal newborn survival. Our near term expansion goal includes:

“There is a case where a mother delivers a baby and she does not have a maid. After giving birth, she finds her alone to treat herself and baby. She thinks how to carry the baby, clean materials, wash herself and the baby, and finally, all these issues bring the challenges. But if it was this infant warmer, she would put the baby on it and deal with the rest.”
