Mohammed Harris, PhD
Board Member Dr. Mohammed Harris is a founder and board member at TimepointDx in addition to being an advisor and investor to multiple diagnostic and biotech startups. He is also the named inventor for multiple patents in genetic sequencing and multiomics technologies for exploratory biomarkers. He is passionate about newborn screening initiatives and is currently helping to usher in whole genome sequencing as a newborn screening endeavor within the state of NJ. Dr. Harris has extensive industry experiences in big pharma as a biomarker and diagnostics specialist, working for firms including Johnson and Johnson, AstraZeneca, Bristol Myers Squibb, and Amgen. Dr. Harris is motivated to make impactful change in newborn screening, rare disease diagnostics, and overall standardization and harmonization of multiomics technologies in clinical, community, and public health settings. He holds a BA and MBS from Rutgers University, an MS from Johns Hopkins University, an MPA from University of Missouri, an MPH from Boston University, and a PhD from Clemson University. |
