The Dream Warmer™
How It Works
The Dream Warmer is a non-electric, reusable warming pad designed to help stabilize the temperature of vulnerable newborns. It uses a safe, medical-grade substance called Phase Change Material (PCM) — the same technology used in vaccine transport and medical cold-chain systems.
The PCM melts when heated in boiling water, storing warmth at exactly 37°C — the same temperature as human skin. Once removed from heat, the liquid PCM gradually releases warmth as it re-solidifies, keeping the baby warm for up to 6 hours.
A built-in temperature indicator makes it easy to see when the warmer is safe to use, and the pad fits into a soft, reusable neoprene sleeve. The Dream Warmer doesn’t require electricity, cords, or batteries — making it an ideal solution for low-resource communities around the world.
In the Kit
Each Dream Warmer kit includes:
One warming pad with built-in temperature indicator
One neoprene sleeve for insulation and comfort
One thermos with lid for safely heating the pad
One compact backpack for easy transport and storage
Visual instructions printed directly on the neoprene sleeve offer on-the-spot guidance to caregivers in any setting, no matter their literacy level.
